Umunyinya Theatre Company est ravi d’avoir contribué dans un projet de développement du théâtre pour le jeune public dans la région des Grands Lacs d’Afrique, « Small Citizens ».

Umunyinya Theatre Company : three months of hard work...

Day-long rehearsals, trying new stage management, buying new props... and that repeatedly for every time the comedians had to go for a performance, this is what your theatre company lived these past days. Three months of sweat, joy and hard work. 

Umunyinya asbl: Une semaine de travail avec les enfants du centre IMP Mutwenzi

Sur une semaine, Umunyinya asbl a exécuté le projet Ngira nk’abandi à Gitega dans le centre IMP Mutwenzi,  un centre qui s’occupe des enfants ayant un handicap physique et mental. Les enfants pris en charge par le centre et les encadreurs ont suivi ensemble la formation.

Le week-end du 16 et 17 février 2018 était unique pour les amoureux du théâtre Burundais qui pleuraient et riaient à toute dent pendant la représentation de Musika. Cela a assouvi le rêve des acteurs qui savaient combien ils avaient sué à en tremper leurs chemises pour répondre à ce grand rendez-vous.

Sunday 14^th January 2018, all Umunyinya asbl members celebrated the New Year. Jogging, suimming, eating and drinking... Wondeful moments and wonderful talks characterized the day. 

Umunyinya represents Burundi in International Festivals

This year, Umunyinya got opportunities more than other years. After being invited in Uganda early in April and Rwanda in July, November was also a month of hard work and travel for Umunyinya. Umunyinya Theatre was invited in Rwanda to represent Burundi in Kina Festival.

Umunyinya launches its project in a Caring Center in Bujumbura

It was this Tuesday 1^st august 2017. Umunyinya launches its project “Ngira nk’abandi” in Giriyuja center with a ‘Hello Show to capture the attention of the project beneficiaries.  The project will be made of three main activities: theatre, dance and song. 

Umunyinya à Kampala

A seulement quelques mois d’agrément de l’association UMUNYINYA ASBL, la sous-région ne tarde pas à croire en cette étincelle d’espoir pour l’art burundais et africain en général. Elle est invitée à participer dans un festival de Black Anthem en Uganda.

 Un évènement exceptionnel à ne pas rater. Un évènement plus que riche où les talents de tout genre se rencontrent. Une occasion de découvrir des nouveaux talents dans leurs diversités. Une collaboration des mots et des crayons pour définir l’harmonie.
